The Work of the Holy Spirit was founded in the Sixties by Father David De Angelis, Capuchin friar, with reference to the spirituality of Mother Carolina Venturella, a Canossian Nun, in order to increase diffusion and devotion to the Holy Spirit. In order to achieve such an aim, the Lay Association “Divine Power of Love”and the two Religious Families “Disciples and Apostles of the Holy Spirit”, male and female branch, are engaged in the apostolate, especially through printed material, spiritual exercises and in forming “cenacles of prayer”, etc. The Work aims as well at the construction of a Temple dedicated to the Holy Spirit, whose building works are in progress.
